Meet Shawn Ryan
Candidate for Harford County Board of Education
I’m Shawn Ryan.
I was born and raised right here in Harford County. I went to Ring Factory Elementary, Bel Air Middle School, and graduated from John Carroll. This county raised me — and now I’m raising my two boys here.
I’m a full-time dad, a baseball coach, and someone who has spent years fighting for kids and families in Harford County. Coaching isn’t something I do on the side — it’s who I am.

I’m a proud dad of two boys — both baseball studs — and I’ve coached varsity baseball, club teams, private lessons, and youth teams all across the county.
Coaching teaches leadership, patience, communication, and trust — the same qualities needed on the Board of Education.
