WHY I’M RUNNING

I never planned to run for public office.
I’m running because parents were ignored, questions were deflected, and serious failures in judgment were brushed aside by the people who are supposed to protect our kids.
Recently, individuals with serious criminal charges and documented misconduct histories were hired into our school system.
Parents asked questions.
The Board deflected.
Leadership passed the buck.
No one was held accountable.
That should never happen in a school system.
I’m a father. I’m a coach. I’m around kids every single day.
And I believe one bad decision is one too many when it comes to children.
If you make hiring decisions that put kids at risk —
you shouldn’t be protected by silence, bureaucracy, or excuses.
That’s why I’m running.
I’m running to bring transparency for parents,
real accountability for leadership,
and a voice for kids who don’t get one.
No spin.
No deflection.
No hiding behind process.
Kids come first. Period.

The Line That Was Crossed

When schools hire or retain individuals who later become the subject of serious criminal charges, parents deserve immediate transparency — not press releases, not talking points, and not excuses. Instead, what we’ve seen is:

  • Questions dismissed
  • Parents talked at, not listened to
  • Accountability pushed down the chain while leadership avoids responsibility

That is not leadership. That is failure. And it’s why I’m running.

This Is About Kids — Not Adult Ego

Let me be clear:

  • This is not about attacking teachers
  • This is not about politics
  • This is not about headlines

This is about kids being protected first — every time.

If you sit on a Board of Education:

  • Your job is not to manage optics
  • Your job is not to circle the wagons
  • Your job is not to deflect blame

Your job: answer parents, own mistakes, and fix problems — even if it’s uncomfortable.

Your voice. Your impact.

Parents Deserve Transparency — Not Spin

Parents should never have to:

  • Dig through rumors
  • File public records requests
  • Rely on social media to learn what’s happening in their own schools

Transparency should be automatic — not forced.
As a Board member, I will demand:

  • Clear communication
  • Immediate disclosure when safety is involved
  • Straight answers, even when they’re uncomfortable

No jargon.
No legalese.
No hiding behind process.

ACCOUNTABILITY IS NOT AN ATTACK — IT’S A RESPONSIBILITY

Holding leadership accountable is not anti-education.
It’s pro-child. When mistakes are made:

  • Own them
  • Fix them
  • Learn from them

Don’t deflect.
Don’t minimize.
Don’t gaslight parents who are simply trying to protect their kids.

who we are

Why Me?

I’m not a career politician.
I don’t owe anyone favors.
I don’t answer to insiders.

I’m a dad.
A coach.
Someone who has spent years standing up for kids — even when it’s uncomfortable.

I’ve spoken up before.
I’m speaking up now.
And I won’t stop once elected.

My Promise

I’m a dad, a coach, and someone who has spent decades helping people solve problems. Kids come first — always. Parents will be heard, not managed, and teachers will be supported while leadership is held accountable. When something goes wrong, we face it head-on: no deflection, no excuses, no silence. This isn’t political — it’s personal. If you believe kids deserve better, parents deserve honesty, and leadership should answer for its decisions, then I’m asking for your support.

NEW ADDITION: THE MISSION & LEADERSHIP

Harford County schools are in the middle of a storm — students’ needs are too often ignored, and parents are left out of the conversation. It’s time someone shakes things up. Too many policies look good on paper but fail our students. Communication with families is inconsistent, decisions lack transparency, and programs often fall short of their promises. Students deserve better — and they deserve it now. I will ask the hard questions, demand clear answers, and make sure every decision on the Board of Education benefits students first — not politics, not optics, not agendas. Accountability isn’t optional; it’s mandatory.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a parent, a coach, and someone who knows how to lead a team, make tough decisions, and stand up for what’s right. I’ve spent years in Harford County helping kids grow — now it’s time to do it at the board level.

No more spin. No more silence. Students deserve action — and I won’t wait.

Students first. Transparency always. Let’s fix this together.

My Vision

IN HIS OWN WORDS

“When students speak, they should be heard — not silenced. I stood up for my kids, and I’ll stand up for every student in Harford County.”

“No student should be punished for expressing themselves respectfully. Freedom of expression is not negotiable.”

“It’s not about politics — it’s about protecting kids from arbitrary rules and holding the board accountable.”

“If the system punishes students for standing up, then the system is broken — and it’s time for real leadership.”

“I won’t let bureaucracy get in the way of fairness, common sense, or students’ rights.”

“Boards are for oversight, not silencing kids. I’ll make sure our schools respect students while still keeping classrooms safe and focused.”

“I believe in teaching respect — not enforcing fear. Students shouldn’t have to worry about getting called out for harmless self-expression.”
